Let the climbing Haruna-Fuji!
Move to the Visitor Center parking lot and start climbing Haruna Fuji!
The first 200 meters or so were flat, but it felt like we were suddenly starting to climb.
I had the impression that most of the path did not look much different from the path we took this morning.
This one was more interesting because it had some steep parts now and then.
However, I didn’t take many pictures because I was soaked in sweat and felt depressed, and I was tired from the forced march

This one took about an hour to reach the shrine at the top of the mountain. Gas! You can hardly see the scenery.
I played with my telephoto lens and took pictures of dragonflies of the cars parked from the top of the ropeway.
I was all sticky from sweat and rain, so I moved to the nearby Lake Haruna Hot Springs!
I took a bath for 510 yen per person and felt refreshed.
It was nice to be able to rinse off immediately after sweating so much!
At the souvenir corner, I found some “Initial D” sweets, and I wanted to buy them.
We went to Nagai Shokudo, which I guess you could say was the real deal today. It was Saturday, so the diner was open until 15:00. I was too lazy to check the time, but I arrived safely.
The parking lot was full, so we had to switch parking lots and wait in line for the diner.
30 minutes in line and we finally got it. We waited in line for 30 minutes before we finally got our meal, which was very rich and tasty.
The rice was on the regular size as opposed to the other large sizes, so I decided to go with the regular size, but you can go with the large size. I guess I was hungry after climbing the mountain, lol.
It was interesting to feel like a traditional diner. We were asked to order from the counter while standing in line, we had to move from the outside to the seat due to the small space until we were seated, and we had to eat with our trays upright instead of horizontally.
The souvenir store was not lined up, so I thought I could just buy that and take it home with me next time.
