To the summit of Mount Hizugatake!
A little further up, there is an observatory where you can see the ocean.
You can also see the observatory at the top of the mountain on the left.
Climbing up the steep stairs, you will reach the summit.

Heading to Masakigahara!
The path to Masakigahara, which is a series of wooden paths to protect the vegetation.
We reached the summit easily, but physically it was going to be tough from now on.
This is a view of the deer eating damage called a browse line. It’s certainly aligned at a certain height along the slope.
As we entered the downhill zone, we started to see more and more standing dead spruce.

- ブラウジングラインという鹿の食害の様子です。確かに斜面に沿って一定の高さで揃っていますね。

- 下りゾーンに！立ち枯れしたトウヒが多くみられるようになっていきます。

- 谷を挟んでビジターセンターが。なんだか不思議な感じです(*´ω`)

- 1959年の伊勢湾台風によって多くの木々が倒れ、やっと今の姿まで回復したそうです。

- 東屋のある尾鷲辻を抜け、牛石ヶ原へ。

- 笹のところには動物たちが歩いた筋が。

- 牛石ヶ原！魔物を封じ込めたと伝えられる牛石や神武天皇像があります(*´ω`)
