Rausu-daira
There is a tent site here without water or toilets.
Because of the brown bears, it is best to keep food in the food locker and not in the tent.
1 km to the summit. We proceeded through the creeping pine zone.

Iwashimizu
Ishishimizu is the cold, clear water that gushes out from between the rocks.
And it’s a mountain in Hokkaido.
A snow gorge was waiting for us!

- 羅臼温泉との合流地点でもあります！ちょっと登ると水が流れていました。

- 振り返った先の三ツ峰は雲のなか。

- 岩清水を過ぎると結構急な斜度になっていきます。

- こちらの雪渓は例年よりも残っているとのこと。ところどころキックステップで登っていきました。北欧以来の雪でした(*´ω`)

- ラストの方も険しい岩々。反時計回り山頂に向かいます！

Mountaintop!
We encountered a brown bear, but arrived at the summit safely!
At the top of the mountain, we couldn’t see the view because it was white with gas…
After a short rest, we departed.
We descended at a leisurely pace, being careful not to make a wrong turn.
無事に山頂までこれました！ヒグマという恐怖は下りもありますが、とりあえず達成です(*´ω`)
山頂はグループがおりましたので、小休止して下山開始！

- ここを90度左に曲がらずに突っ切ってしまう道迷いがあるそうです。軽アイゼンは持って行きましたが、今回は使わず。

- 下山時は三ツ峰、サシルイ岳も見れました！

- 雲海に浮かぶ国後島、択捉島がチラッと。

- 晴れの景色！いいな(*´ω`)

- カサカサという音でマムシかなと思ったら、おそらくシマヘビ。

As a reward for all our hard work, we bought some ice cream at the Shiretoko Nature Center!

- へとへとのご褒美に知床自然センターでアイスを！とても美味しい(*´▽｀*)ここでは登山バッチは売っていませんでした。

- せっかくなので、セイコマートのホットシェフでカツカレーを！底上げなんてない当たり前のうれしさ( *´艸`)
