To the summit of Kamonga-dake!
We proceeded through the bamboo grass, sweeping away the cobwebs with our poles.
It took us about an hour to arrive at Mount Kamongatake.
We were going very slowly, so it might take less than 40 minutes for fast climbers.
The elevation was 1449 meters, and there was gas all around.
Start descending Kamongatake!
We were observing the flowers and insects, hoping for some sunshine, but no luck.
There was another route from Mt. Kamongatake, but we heard a lot of information about the hell of bamboo grass, so we decided to take a piston route, as if we didn’t want to go through bamboo grass anymore.
It might not be so bad to go on a piston because you can find a different view from the way you went.
There was a huge rock called “Whale Rock” about five minutes away from the trailhead, which we hadn’t noticed on the way down, so we took a detour.
